The shop & opening hours
How much does a dress cost at The Julie?
Between 780,000₫ and 3,010,000₫ — roughly $30 to $115. Day dresses and simple lace pieces are at the lower end, and hand-beaded evening gowns at the top.
Is everything on the website actually in the shop?
Yes. All 25 dresses are hanging at 246A Nui Thanh right now, and all the photographs were taken here. Nothing is a stock image and nothing is made to order.
Where is The Julie and when is it open?
At 246A Núi Thành, Phường Hoà Cường, Đà Nẵng, open 8:00am – 10:00pm every day. Free parking right outside, no appointment needed.
Trying on & holding a dress
Can I try a dress on and have it held for me?
Yes. Message us the dress name and size and we hold it for 24 hours, ready in the fitting room. There is no fee and no obligation to buy.
Online orders & delivery
Do you ship internationally?
Not as a standard service — we currently deliver within Vietnam only. If you want something sent to your country, message us before you buy and we will tell you honestly whether we can arrange it and what it would cost. We would rather say that than take your money and disappoint you.
Can you deliver to my hotel in Da Nang?
Yes. Message us with your hotel name and room number and we will send it over, and you can pay cash on delivery. This is a good option if you are short on time or staying out by the beach.
Do you deliver within Vietnam?
Yes, nationwide, usually 2–4 days (up to 5 for remote provinces), with cash on delivery — you open and check the dress before paying. Delivery costs 30,000₫ and is free for orders from 1,000,000₫.
Payment & prices
Do I have to bargain at The Julie?
No. Every price is fixed and marked on the tag, and it is the same price for everyone. If you find haggling in markets stressful, this is the opposite experience.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard, including cards issued outside Vietnam, with no surcharge. We also take cash in Vietnamese dong and Vietnamese bank transfer by QR code.
Can I get a VAT refund at the airport?
Ask us before you pay and we will tell you honestly what paperwork we can issue. We are a small independent shop, so please do not build your plans around an airport refund without checking with us first.
Exchanges & returns
Can I return or exchange something?
Within 7 days, at the shop, with the tags still attached and the dress unworn and unwashed, you can exchange it for another size or design, or return it for store credit for the full amount (valid 90 days). Faulty items are refunded in full. Evening gowns and wedding dresses can be exchanged for size but not returned. Because each design is made in very small numbers we cannot always guarantee the size you want will still be there, so trying it on before you buy is always better.
What if a delivered dress does not fit?
You can exchange it for another size within 7 days of receiving it, and we pay the exchange shipping. Faulty items are refunded in full.
Sizes & measurements
Will Vietnamese sizes fit me?
Our sizes run small by Western standards: S is about US 2, M about US 4, and L about US 6–8 with a bust of 92cm (36"). Evening gowns are S and M only. Check our size guide for the full measurements, and message us if you are unsure.
Occasions
Do you rent dresses for photoshoots?
We sell rather than rent. Our evening gowns are around $105 to $115, which is often close to what a rental costs elsewhere in Da Nang — and the dress is then yours.
Visiting from abroad
How do I contact you in English?
WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook Messenger are best — written English is much easier for our team than spoken, and you will get a clear answer. Include the dress name and your measurements and we can tell you straight away whether it will fit.
